We are pleased to present you an electronic factsheet produced by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Azerbaijan. It includes information about the main activities of the UN Refugee Agency in Azerbaijan, as well as some statistics on refugees, asylum seekers, internally displaced persons and stateless people.

A review report on Azerbaijan was released within the framework of Universal Periodic Review Mechanism of the UN Human Rights Council. The document reflects notes and recommendations of 105 delegations on activities carried out and measures taken by Azerbaijan for the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, the promotion of dialogue and the sharing of experience, as well as responses to the reviews from Azerbaijan side. This factsheet provides brief information about the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Azerbaijan’s actions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Available only in Azerbaijani, it also includes information about the mandate of the National Coordination Council on Sustainable Development, which was established by the decree of the President of Azerbaijan Republic on 6 October 2016.
This book includes the existing data on organic agriculture and those collected through the project activities in order to display the current state-of-art in Azerbaijan.
